Following the great success of the TEDxFlanders Salon, this year it evolves into a full-scale main event. On June 11, TEDx Flanders puts The Power of Design in the spotlight again.
Design shapes every aspect of our daily lives, from the products and services we use, to the art we experience, the spaces we inhabit, and the systems that drive our businesses and societies. This event brings together decision-makers, business leaders, and award-winning designers for an inspiring and immersive evening.

Speakers
Sander de Clercq
Sander De Clercq is a team lead at Loop Earplugs, where he combines industrial design with a strong commitment to sustainability. His teams have delivered award-winning projects, while his work as co-founder of Stock Antwerp explores new models for circular production. Alongside his professional practice, he shares his knowledge as a lecturer and coach at various universities, shaping the next generation of designers.
Vanessa Vankerckhoven
Vanessa Vankerckhoven is an entrepreneur and CEO of Idevax, named Female Entrepreneur of the Year 2025. With a PhD in medical sciences and a background as founder of Novosanis, she brings together scientific expertise, design thinking, and entrepreneurship. As a guest professor at the University of Antwerp, she also helps shape the next generation of innovators.
Dimitri Borrey
Dimitri Borrey is known for his role behind the success of Stromae and collaborations with artists such as Loïc Nottet and Geeeko. He has consistently demonstrated how to guide raw talent toward international recognition. His philosophy centers on the power of collaboration: bringing the right people together to achieve extraordinary results.
Arnoud Grootenboer
Arnoud Grootenboer is a creative leader within the Dutch police force, working at the intersection of design, social innovation, and policing. By rethinking how systems operate, he brings fresh perspectives to collaboration, leadership, and public safety. His work opens up space for imagination, challenging conventions and enabling meaningful systemic change.
